Live Fire Excersise - A Nostalgic Homage

In releasing the live album 'Live Fire Excersise' we decided to make the artwork a clear nod to the video game artwork of the the mid 90's video game The Chaos engine by The Bitmap Brothers that we remembered fondly playing on the Commodore Amiga.
As the band have existing characters, we could matchthe portraits into the artwork - substitute these into the framing and lighting setups that were drawn in the original game artwork with a bit of updating of locations using soft focus scrims to boot.
I was really pleased how these turned out, using small RGB lights to match the colours of the original artwork. The branding of the artwork also matched the aged patina of the game box and look of the fonts.
